ROOF REPLACEMENT UPDATE

WEEK 3 UPDATE and week 4 way ahead.

Once again, another excellent week with thanks going to one and all who stepped up. The amount of work that has been carried out just goes to show what a ‘team’ effort can achieve. The old Chinese saying “many hands make light work” is so true.

The weather was kind and the canopy soon finished up at the tip thanks again to Tony and his season ticket to the recycling unit. Interesting what you find when opening cupboards that have not seen the light of day for goodness knows how long. The tool room produced a number of surprises, and a load of scrap!

The week concluded on Friday with the monthly BBQ that was appreciated by all. Thanks to John and Paul both of whom have bee proposed as entrants for next year’s master chef.

The scaffolding will be erected on Tuesday and not Wednesday as previously advised by the contractor.

WEEK 4.

With the exception of Monday, the shed will be closed from Tuesday during the roof replacement period with the exception of the following watch keepers: -

JOHN S, PAUL T, PETE S, DEREK R, JOHN B

Hours of attendance will be 0800 until circa 1700 weather permitting.
