ROOF REPLACEMENT

UPDATE weeks 7 & 8

Week 7 started with the ring main rework. On further inspection and debate a major rewire of certain aspects was essential with additional individual runs for heavier consumption equipment and fittings.

Two complete 13A ring mains have been installed.

The first full bin of old cabling, thanks to Tony ‘S’, realised a scrap return of £26.

Consideration for the future should be that WMS recycle all our own scrap, every 1d helps.

Not such long hour’s week 7, we even had a day off!

Week 8 and re-wiring continued; the Box lathe currently has a mind of its own! Additional timbers are being fitted in the new roof area to accommodate the ceiling panels. Prior to which a final inspection and certification of the new electrical installations will be undertaken.

On Monday 11th, week 9, time flies when you are having a great time! new boarding, plus a tower will be arriving in order to complete the front canopy work. This will prevent any infestation of wild life and further enhance the insulation of the building.
