1. Welcome to November’s newsletter. Well it has been quite a month with the renovation of our Shed. A general call went out for support to get the Shed ready for the roofing contractor. You would have seen Peter Sanders updates, it was really quite heartening to see so many members turning up to do ‘their bit’ The consequence was we were able to complete the preparations ahead of time. It was a real team effort and I think we found it was quite cathartic pulling down the ceiling boards and the external shelter knowing that by the end of the year we will have a brand spanking new premises’ of which we can be justifiably proud. Just a reminder that this is only phase one that we have completed. Once the scaffolders and roofers have gone it will be up to us to return and reassemble the workshops and internal structure. Knowing what we can achieve, am sure the same ethos will prevail and we will have phase three interior completed by the end of the year. The exterior lean too will be very much weather dependant though. If table dancing is your hobby and you wish to pursue this at the WMS, who am I to judge! You may be wearing a mask, but we know who you are!

The team on the final day celebrating a job well done. It was now up to Rowlands Castle Roofing to come in and commence work. The scaffolders were in and had the supporting scaffolding in place in a day. The roofers arrived on time and didn’t waste any time in getting started either.

A follow up instalment on the progress in next month’s edition of the newsletter.
