3. We have a couple of longer-term dates for your diaries, which we would hope you are able to support given enough notice. The first is the Waterlooville Summer Fete Sunday 23rd June. We have been given a pitch for two gazebos free. This will enable us to promote WMS and an opportunity to display some of the projects we have undertaken. Am sure we can also muster some tools for donations also. Watch the noticeboard for details. The second is a joint evening with Berewood Women’s Institute at their venue. The date will be 16th October commencing at 1930. Last time we made up kits for their members to put together. Again we will be looking for members to join in. We usually take an assortment of tools and Workmates ® to set up to enable the members to work on their projects. We have yet to decide on what they can make however, again watch the noticeboard and emails for further details.

4. Free to collect, an exterior door and frame with key and fixings, size measurements:- Frame width 84.5cm length 2006cm Door width 76cm length 198cm Contact Dave Allport if interested. It is a substantial twin glass framed door, making it quite heavy to move.

5. Our expertise with projects for the community continues. We received a nice email from The Barn Pre-School via Pete Sanders

“Dear all thank you for the bird table, we had to refill it 3 times this afternoon. The nesting Robins love it.” Well done Pete and David Sy !

6. We have become a ‘global phenomenon’. I received a voice mail communications from a lady who lives in British Columbia Canada recently and she said she reads the newsletters via our website. Which is great. So if you are reading this months, I hope you enjoy reading what our menfolk are up to at Waterlooville Men’s Shed here in England.

5. Sorry this is a shorter newsletter than normal as I have not been able to call in and catch up on any news stories for a while. Don’t forget keep the articles coming though by email though. This is our newsletter where we can share our experiences and stories.
